Litro says that the distribution of gas will commence from today (15).
The company said it plans to supply gas stocks primarily to businesses, crematoriums, and hospitals.
Litro said it would take steps to provide gas to a small number of households as well.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that gas will be provided to crematoriums, hospitals, and hotels.
The Prime Minister was during a discussion with stakeholders in the tourism sector.
